Age2Age was founded at the turn of the 21st century by Christine Kennedy, a nationally recognized thought leader in the field of positive aging, with particular expertise in innovative models of housing.

Chris was working in the tech world of the Silicon Valley when the dot.bomb hit;  she began to survey future trends, and prepare for the next wave of innovation and opportunity. From her career vantage point, she foresaw the collision of aging baby boomers with the suburban housing paradigm.  As an evangelist of the World Health Organization's Age-Friendly Cities and Communities Program, Chris had guided cross-sector collaboratives to lead their municipality to recieve the Age-Friendly designation.

In 2008, Chris launched  the Institute for Age-Friendly Housing  an educational non-profit that hosts the annual Silicon Valley Positive Aging Forum to showcase innovations in aging.
Chris Kennedy holds a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the School of Social Ecology at the University of California, Irvine. Her multidisciplinary career spans planning and business development in the fields of aging, transportation, telecommunications, and high technology.
